Our Quality Policy
Our Quality Policy
At SEMES Food, our quality benchmark is defined by the guiding principle of our founder, Vasfi Diren: “We do not process fruit we wouldn’t put on our own table, nor produce juice we wouldn’t feed our own children.”
Our production is fully compliant with the 2001/112/EC directive, the AIJN Code of Practice, and relevant Reference Guidelines. Every stage of our process is executed in strict adherence to HACCP standards (FDA 19.01.2001 and 93/43/EEC).
Our facility, production processes, and products operate in full compliance with Food Regulations, the Turkish Food Codex, and relevant bylaws. We adhere to international food safety standards, most notably BRCGS and FSSC 22000.
Our Quality Control Processes:
All materials used in production, including the fruits and vegetables that form our core raw materials, are meticulously evaluated within the scope of our quality control processes. Samples are taken from every raw material batch arriving at our factory and are rigorously checked against the following criteria:
- Brix value,
- Acidity value,
- pH value,
- Taste – Odor (Compliant/Non-Compliant),
- Appearance (Compliant/Non-Compliant),
- Allergen Control (Present/Absent).
From raw material to final product, our Quality Control System consists of a combination of three main stages:
- Input Control Process (regarding raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods),
- Process Control Process,
- Final Control Process
It consists of a merger consisting of 3 processes.
These core processes encompass various specific sub-processes within themselves:
- Input Control Process
- Physical Acceptance Sub-Process
- Input Control Sub-Process
- Process Control Process
- Production Start-up Control Sub-Process
- In-Process Control Sub-Process
- Final Control Process
- Post-Filling Control Sub-Process
- Incubation Sub-Process
- Final Release Decision Sub-Process
